Rationale

Domestic pricing is an arithmetical exercise, and Export pricing is a process and strategy-centric.

It is observed that exporters having good export products and prepared to offer competitive prices, either end up losing export orders or are left with less profit while quoting a price. The reason the under both the circumstances is lack of knowledge on pricing methodology for export.

The concept of cost-based pricing as applicable in the domestic market does not apply in International Market, where prices are fixed by the buyer. Therefor with reference to export always expression Export Pricing is used instead of Export Costing.

Objective or Outcome
